    ScanINSPECT VPI is a fully integrated, stand-alone, process control, measurement,  inspection and programming workstation for use in setting up and monitoring processes on the production floor in the PCB or Hybrid Microcircuit assembly industries.    
    ScanINSPECT VPI uses a PC Windows based innovative software package integrated with an advanced high-resolution, calibrated, flatbed scanner. This combination allows inspection of artwork, bare PCB’s, ceramic substrates, components, stencils, screens and assemblies at virtually any stage of production. Parts can be inspected versus either Gerber data, CAD data or Golden Parts. All variables come together as a virtual part to avoid costly problems before full production starts.  
   

Inspect and Validate:

  Board Fabrication    - (FR4, ceramic or flex-parts) to the
                                             original artwork design

  Stencil Cleanliness   - also verify new stencils to Gerber

  Paste/Adhesive Deposition

  Hybrid Microcircuits - verify wet substrate deposition, check loaded substrates,
    wire bonds and inspect screens for a series of process-
    crippling faults

 Assemblies
 

 Generate:

  Part Vision Libraries - direct from components (check to ensure 
      vendor-to-vendor consistency)

  Assembly Programs - through-hole or SMT from either Gerber data, ASCII centroid
      data or scanned images of PCB’s, film, stencils, etc.
      (over 72 output formats)

  Gerber Files (274D & 274X) from scanned bare board, film, stencils, etc.
